1) Tool, by a bajillion miles. Rifrickindiculously awesome. Prolly gonna be a while before another album, though. : (
2) SlipKnoT. Prolly the best metal bands I listen to (I know, a lot of you either think "He doesn't listen to much metal" or "They're too mainstream". I get it all the time. I'm fine with nu-metal and its mainstreamness.)
3) Hard to say... Honestly, there's several here that I can't decide on the best of. Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Evanescence, Mudvayne, Lamb of God, Trivium, SoaD, and Linkin Park. If I had to, I'd say Breaking Benjamin.
